Cenktan Özyıldırım is Professor of Finance at Istanbul Bilgi University, where he has taught since 2001 and directed the MSc in International Finance since 2013. His published work in journals such as Review of Finance and Emerging Markets Finance and Trade examines financial modelling, banking efficiency, and recession-prediction modelling. His current research focuses on algorithmic and AI-driven trading, reinforcement-learning methods for market prediction, and digital-asset market microstructure. Beyond academia he provides executive education and advisory services in market risk, valuation and quantitative forecasting. Özyıldırım holds an MSc in Economics and a PhD in Finance from Boğaziçi University, and an MSc in Economic Law from Bilgi University.
