Dr. Ceylan Onay Sahin is the Digital Finance Lead within the Digital Innovation and Transformation Research Excellence Group at the University of Brighton. Her research explores the intersection of finance, technology, and human and organizational behaviour. She has published in top-tier academic journals, including the Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Financial Services Research, and International Review of Financial Analysis. In 2019, Dr. Onay Sahin founded the Digital Finance Working Group at Boğaziçi University, where she held professorial and leadership roles. She also served as President of the Turkey Chapter of the Association for Information Systems from 2021 to 2023. She is currently an observing member of the Global Blockchain Business Council and a Research Fellow at the Emerging Markets Group at Bayes Business School.
