Elçin Karatay is a legal counsel and Managing Partner at Solak & Partners Law Firm, specializing in M&A, IT and FinTech law. Elçin has experience in advising local and global clients, and played roles in cross-border transactions, regulatory compliance, and innovative legal solutions. She has led projects, including facilitating strategic partnerships in the IT and fintech sectors, negotiating software development and license agreements, securing differnet regulatory licenses in Fintech area, and navigating regulatory landscapes in Türkiye. Elçin is also an active participant in global regulatory research initiatives through organizations such as the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC) and IBA; and is currently pursuing her PhD in Private Law in Galatasaray University.
