Kürşad Öz is a Deputy Executive Director at the Payment Systems and Financial Technologies department of the CBRT, where he oversees the Digital Turkish Lira Project. He has over 15 years of experience working in information technology and financial innovation. Along with his involvement in CBDC related R&D projects since their inception at the Bank in 2020, his focus over the past few years has included the payments and emerging financial technologies spaces.
