Niyazi Atasoy is a senior asset management professional with over 25 years of experience. He currently serves as CEO of Hedef Portföy, one of Turkey’s leading asset management companies. Prior to this role, he led equities, global investments, research, and commodities departments at Ak Asset Management, overseeing USD 3.5 billion in AUM . Atasoy played a key role in the launch of award-winning equity funds such as BUY (Ak Portföy Büyüyen Şirketler Hisse Fonu) and spearheaded the introduction of ETFs following regulatory changes. He previously held leadership positions at Garanti Asset Management and Gedik Asset Management, and began his career at Ata Asset Management. Known for his strong institutional partnerships, index collaborations with Borsa İstanbul, and innovations in execution systems, Atasoy holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul University.
